Wonderful viewpoint of the lakes, you can take a boat to the island and take a nice circular hike there.

The Punkaharju Arboretum[1] is located approximately 7 km north of Punkaharju on State Route 14 towards Savonlinna in Finland. It provides information about forestry-useful and native tree species in Finland.
