Highly recommended and a small highlight in the area. If you have the opportunity to visit at night, you should take advantage of this experience and visit the bats there.

As of April 2025, the northern part is inaccessible due to an artificial forest fire (renaturation).

This information board is located at the entrance to the reserve. According to the board, there should be parking there. However, this isn't the case, as the campsite is directly adjacent. You can either park 100 meters further along the roadside (space for 3-4 cars) or at the beginning of the campsite. There are designated parking spaces for day visitors to the lake (free of charge).

Kycklingebacken is a hill in this part of the forest and a natural lookout point. The name probably comes from the fact that the individual loose stones on the hill are said to resemble small birds. Perhaps with a lot of imagination.
