Undoubtedly one of the most breathtaking places in Revin, but one of the most difficult to reach. It's best to have strong legs. The Godin Hole (the name is uncertain), several centuries old, originated from a prospecting operation in the rock face. It lies at the bend of a small, steep path overlooking the house in the middle of Fallières. "It comes from the search for slate schists. At the time, people were very poor and looked for slate by digging into the rock. There are other similar holes along the stream below, they extend all the way to the Plateau," says Edmond Szelong, a history buff. No one knows exactly when this breakthrough was made, probably in the 18th century. The imposing cavity, dug into this porous rock, inexorably lets water seep through. It fills with every downpour. “Children used to be responsible for emptying it every morning using buckets.”

The Luve (or Ruisseau de Luve ) is a Belgian-French river in the Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse , a tributary of the Viroin and a tributary of the Meuse. Over a largely wooded course of about fifteen kilometres, it drains part of the water from the southern part of the Viroin-Hermeton nature park . Its source is in the 'Bois de Franche' south of the hamlet of Regniessart. It rises towards the north-east and crosses Oignies-en-Thiérache and passes south of Le Mesnil. Then, during a long forest route, it crosses the French-Belgian border and flows further north into the Viroin at Molhain, in France, just a few kilometres before the confluence of the latter with the Meuse.

Starting from the church of Le Mesnil, a small typical village in the municipality of Viroinval, take the route that goes down between large meadows to reach the Ardennes forest. For the record: Le Mesnil is the least populated and most picturesque village in the Viroinval region. The route runs along the stream “Deluve” before crossing it and taking a very beautiful path that follows the border between Belgium and France to reach the place called “La Folie”. This place evokes the audacity of these men who went into the forest to open an oasis of light and life. The return to the village is via a charming stone path in the forest.

The belvedere over Revin and the Meuse valley offers an exceptional panorama over the town of Revin and the meanders of the Meuse. It is reached by the road that climbs to Mont Despite Everything, where there is also a monument dedicated to the resistance fighters of the Maquis des Manises executed by the Nazis during the Second World War. The course is not very long, but it is steep and rocky. However, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view upon arrival.
