The pass height of 433 m above sea level. NN doesn't sound like much, but since you have to tackle them from sea level, you work up a sweat. If you come from Cargèse, you have to climb a few more meters after Piana, because the pass is not the highest point on the road. But the gradient between the pass and Piana is very moderate.
