The Ray-Pic waterfall is a natural waterfall and a natural volcanic site. The amazing rock formations of this 60-meter waterfall follow a lava flow that forms a cascade of basalt columns.
The Col du Gerbier de Jonc from Saint-Martin-de-Valamas is 22.9 km long with a total drop of 885 m. The average gradient is 3.8% with maximum gradients of 8.3%.
The Suc de la Lauzière is an ancient volcano which peaks at an altitude of 1,582 metres. From its summit, you can observe Mont Gerbier de Jonc, well known for providing the source of the Loire.
