A walk that leads to the Sucettes, these majestic vertical rocks. The loop starts in the cool undergrowth in a heatwave. After the Sucettes, my descent is via a wider track. Parking possible at the start/finish point.
The Fontaine du Vallon is a water source. It also offers a spot of shade before facing the climb towards the Pic de Bure, very exposed to the sun. This is a good spot to rest before continuing.
This small, very grassy lake is nestled at the foot of two three thousand meter peaks, the Jocelme (3,458 m) and the Sirac (3,441 m). An ideal place to take a break, picnic or swim.
