The cave was first discovered by speleologists in 1945 and to date over 4 km of passages have been explored. A 900 meter long path has been opened as a show cave and takes over an hour to walk through.

A beautiful hike that is well worth the detour! If you can physically get to the Grotte des Fées, it's a plus. Not for the cavity itself which is short and dry, but for the beautiful landscapes to get there. Be careful of the difference in altitude.

Cave that does not pose any danger, except to venture there without light. Short cave of about 40m. Dry and degraded concretions. it is worth the detour, but nothing impressive either. Just follow the Joncas river then climb to the heights following the cairns and footprints.

"Les Fenestrettes" is a rock formation in the Cirque de l'Infernet, a deep gorge in the French Pyrenees. These natural windows provide spectacular views of the surrounding landscape, attracting hikers and nature lovers.

Very nice hike, not too difficult, remember to wear proper shoes, it is very rocky in places.

Les Fenestrettes is a magnificent corbelled path built above the void by the monks of Saint-Guilhem. The path literally plunges into the Cirque de l'Infernet, so it offers wonderful panoramas.

Wonderful trick to do. Preferably in the early morning to avoid too many people, and outside the summer period when it is very hot because the course is not shaded.

The Clamouse cave is located in Saint-Jean-de-Fos in the department of Hérault, at the foot of the Séranne (mountains of Saint-Guilhem). The cave opens a few hundred meters upstream from the Pont du Diable, near the medieval village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, on the right bank of the Hérault gorges.
