Magnificent panorama of the Puy de Dôme!

The Puy de Jumes is located on a chain of nine volcanoes including the Puy de Lemptégy, those of Les Gouttes and Chopine, and of course its twin, the Puy de la Coquille. The views and surrounding trails are magnificent.

Culminating at 1,152 meters, the Puy de la Coquille presents a small crater partly covered with vegetation. It offers a beautiful view of the Puy de Dôme. The stairs that lead there make your thighs warm. And the path that goes to the twin volcano, the Puy de Jumes, is very pleasant.

Cheires are ancient lava flows that offer incredible natural phenomena! The ecosystems that have developed there are incredibly rich and offer a corner of paradise for all hikers.

The Puys emerge all around you when you move in the Parc des Volcans d'Auvergne. They offer us a unique and varied panorama at every moment of our hike!

Puy de la Coquille is the little neighbor of Puy de Jumes. It culminates about ten meters lower, with an altitude of 1,152 meters against 1,161 meters for its neighbor.

The Puy de Jumes is part of the Puys chain and culminates at 1,161 meters above sea level. Each side of the puy has its own ecosystem, between beech groves, copses of hazel trees and dry lawns. The GR 441 also takes you on its slopes.
