In the small town of Wergenstein, the white church, which stands in a prime location above the valley, stands out in particular.

The Reformed Church is a listed building and is situated on the outskirts of Wergenstein with great views.

Pizzo Stella is 3,163 m high, it is the most famous peak in the Spluga valley even if not the highest.

Now only a few people live here, in the highest village of Juf, which is inhabited all year round. It is located in the Avers high valley at an altitude of 2,126 meters at the foot of the Septimer Pass. In the barren landscape with the incomparable mountain panoramas you will find a peace that is second to none.

Magnificent place with fantastic views

The refuge, dedicated to the "poet of Valchiavenna" Giovanni Bertacchi, stands in a panoramic position next to Lake Emet, in the Upper Val San Giacomo, at an altitude of 2,175 metres. An ideal destination for family outings thanks to its privileged and easily accessible position, it is open from mid-June to the end of September (and only on weekends in October). An excellent place to take a regenerating break while enjoying the best dishes of the local tradition. It is also equipped with 24 beds.

Grisons Juf is 2126 m above sea level. and is the highest settlement in Europe, which is inhabited all year round. And you can sleep so quietly up here with a camper.

Evangelical Reformed Church, Innerferrera The evangelical reformed church in Innerferrera was built around 1834 in its present form and is the only church in the valley that stands in the middle of the village. This new building was made possible thanks to a generous donation from the legacy of the Ausserferrerer citizen Peter Lamalta, who died in Chur in 1825. The result is a rectangular hall church, which is divided into a choir and a nave. During excavations in 1939, the foundations of a narrower and shorter predecessor church were discovered. Since the renovation in 1939/40, the church tower has had a dial, for which the bell windows were provided with wooden blinds. In the choir there is a baptismal font and organ and an artfully constructed pulpit. On the back of the choir wall, under the lunette window, a Bible verse in Romansh is attached in an arched arrangement: “CUN FIDANZA LAINSA NUS VURDAR SIN JESUS, L’ANTSCHEATTA A LA FEGN DALLA CARDIENTSCHA. HEBR. 12.2. "The German translation of this verse from the Letter to the Hebrews reads:" We want to look to Jesus with trust, the beginner and finisher of faith.
