A beautiful via ferrata, difficulty level D, impossible without via ferrata equipment. Very well-developed but not suitable for beginners. Many crossings over water.

Nice place to take a break but not worth a hike on its own. Nice view of the Rocafort castle less than 10 minutes away on foot. This stone is also located about thirty minutes from the Penaz waterfall which is worth the detour.

The Prés Bordon protected site is a rich forest wetland, with diverse bodies of water and thriving riparian vegetation. Closely connected to other natural sites in the surrounding area, it constitutes a haven for rare and sometimes surprising species. The square stone is of different composition, it has its origin in the mountains of Valais in Switzerland. The inhabitants of Yvoire have a habit of saying that people who have set foot on the stone of Equarre do not leave the village, and decide to settle there permanently 🙂

You should start very early in the morning. I recommend around 8:30 a.m., then you have your peace and can look at everything in a relaxed manner. Around 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. the first buses 🚌 with tourists arrive, then it gets a bit exhausting 🙃👍. Greetings to the community.
