Several beautiful hiking trails (both short and long) lead from the mountain station. There's also a botanical garden, a summer toboggan run, and a small wooden ball track, so you can pass the time.

I think most people take a break here; it's a nice spot, but then it goes up a bit further.

The Schatzalp and the historic hotel of the same name lie above Davos at 1,862 meters. A funicular takes you up from Davos Platz in four minutes. Built in 1900, this Art Nouveau hotel is a member of Swiss Historic Hotels and a real eye-catcher amidst the idyllic mountain scenery. The energy up here is also special: it reaches 26,000 Bovis units in certain places... Do you feel it when you start walking, or is it the espresso from the hotel bar? ;-)

Mountain station (funiculars) and mountain restaurant Weissfluhjoch Weissfluhjoch Magnificent view at 2663 m above sea level The Weissfluhjoch is a 2693 m high mountain in the Plessur Alps. It is located in the northwest of Davos in the triangle of the Landwassertal, Prättigau and Schanfigg regions and is the local mountain of the Alpine town of Davos. The Weissfluhjoch is a fairly built-up peak above Davos, as this is where the seven cable cars end. From Davos you can save yourself a few meters of altitude by taking the Parsennbahn and being chauffeured up to around 2,600 meters.

The Schatz Alp was only reopened as a hotel on June 7, 2024. Hats off!!!
