The climb from Jongieux le Haut is still very pleasant, and at the chapel you are rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view. The descent to Yenn can be very slippery in rainy weather; a warning sign is posted along the descent.

Very nice site, and pretty waterfall. However, the very present tourist aspect spoils the show a bit, a security guard is even present to monitor the waterfall...I had never seen that before. Other equally beautiful and wilder waterfalls are to be discovered in Valromey

The hill of Saint Romain with the chapel of the same name is an ideal resting place. You have a beautiful view of Yenne and the Rhone. This hill was an important place in ancient times. The oldest stele in Savoy was found during excavations. It could be dated to the year 504.
