This coast has splendid scenery; frankly, it makes it really enjoyable. The gradient isn't generally very steep, just a few meters here and there over 10%, otherwise it stays below 7%. So, quite easy to climb and superb scenery—I'll be back!

The park is only open on Wednesdays and Sundays. The remains of this industrial site are interesting and well explained through posters.

Built in the 6th century BC, this oppidum is one of the largest in Provence. Built on a rocky promontory overlooking the Etang de Berre, it bears the traces of several centuries of settlement.

You have to search a bit for access and it's a bit of a climb. The cave and the view out is worth the effort.
