Built on a granite outcrop, the Virgin of Onlay overlooks the village and offers a beautiful panorama of the valley. This statue, dating from 1900 and once a place of procession, remains an iconic landmark of the Morvan region.

Just a stone's throw from the Maison du Parc du Morvan, the Étang Taureau offers a peaceful rural retreat. A discovery trail has been created nearby, and thirteen information panels explain the history of its fauna and flora.

The Ouroux-en-Morvan pond offers an ideal setting for a relaxing break by the water. A small, shaded path circles the pond. You'll find several spots for picnics and simply enjoying the surroundings.

Trail past the waterfall is essentially blocked by many fallen trees. I would recommend the alternative trail from Villapourcon of about 11 km.

After the waterfall, the path is no longer easy to follow. There must have been a storm; a pile of fallen trees are lying around, and the path is no longer recognizable. It gets better again after crossing the small river.

A magnificent view of the town

Pond in the heart of the village, close to all shops and services, wooded on the south side and bordered by a small picturesque road to the north.

This waterfall indeed falls on an old fault which leads to this fall of 10 meters high. It's buried in the woods and you'll hear it before you see it. There are also two old mills nearby. One produced flour and the other oil.
