The Roc de Majorque (444 m high) preserves the remains of a large Roman square tower. A magnificent 360° panorama of the Corbières, the Roussillon plain, the Pyrenees, and their foothills is available. An orientation table is available there.

A pearl of a gorge, wonderful to swim in the lake or enjoy the surrounding rocks and beautiful colours.

Great views both up and down the gorge.

These are some very beautiful gorges. Note the small medieval stone bridge that seems so fragile. Also know that the thermal spring of La Fou is very close to this magical place.

"Clinging" to the rocks, very unstable 😉 Since the path goes through it, you can't do a circular walk outside of opening hours. From the larger parking lot to the south, you can at least get to the entrance in the evening, with views into the gorge. From the north, the path ends at the end of the tunnel...

Roc de Mallorca is also interesting from a geological point of view, as it is a prominent rock formation in the landscape, and its elevated location makes it a reference point for hikers and explorers of the region.
