Laguna de la Raña is a very interesting natural area in the Horcajo de los Montes area (Montes de Toledo), within the Cabañeros National Park. This seasonal lagoon fills up during the rainy season and can dry up in summer. It's a popular spot for wintering and migratory birds, and large birds of prey fly over Cabañeros National Park (such as the Spanish imperial eagle and the black vulture).

The La Viñuela Trail is a hiking trail located in Cabañeros National Park, near Alcoba de los Montes. It runs through the valley of the La Viñuela stream, at the foot of the Sierra del Chorito. It passes through undergrowth of strawberry trees, ancient holm oaks, rockroses, and oak forests. It offers spectacular views of the Cabañeros plain, a typical plain in the park. Deer, wild boar, vultures, and eagles are common sights.

It is one of the many natural lagoons that characterize this area, including the Lagunas de Alcoba and Horcajo de Los Montes.

At the end of the road is a picnic area and parking. From here, a path leads down the riverbed to the waterfall, a total distance of 6.5 km (4 miles) round trip. In October, the waterfall had dried up.

A route to be done exclusively on foot through the heart of the Mediterranean forest, which here breaks its apparent uniformity with different slopes. Along the way it is easy to come across wild boars and deer, or see vultures and eagles in the sky. 13 km (circular)

Starting at the La Viñuela parking lot, the route is just over a kilometer long and lies in the heart of Cabañeros Natural Park. "Cork Oak Route"

The outward journey is over coarse gravel and is easy. The way back over frequent steps and boulders is tedious with S2 and pushing points for about 1 km.
