The Casa Palillos Visitor Center is located in Cabañeros National Park, in Alcoba (Ciudad Real). What will you find? Permanent exhibition on the park's fauna, flora, and culture. Audiovisual room with projections about Cabañeros. Botanical and ethnographic viewpoints and trails. Picnic area and parking. Accessible for people with reduced mobility.

At the end of the road is a picnic area and parking. From here, a path leads down the riverbed to the waterfall, a total distance of 6.5 km (4 miles) round trip. In October, the waterfall had dried up.

Detour to the Hermitage of the Holy Cross. Located southwest of the town, nestled at the summit of the mountain range that gives it its name, it is 3 km from Piedrabuena and at an altitude of 791 m. From this viewpoint, you can see the town and surrounding areas, including the Piedrabuena volcano. An important monument here is the Hermitage of the Sierra de la Cruz, built in the late 19th century. Every May 3rd, the Piedrabuena pilgrimage is held on this hill.
