Beautiful Taiolotic site, with beautiful remaining ruins, a "taialot" still present dominating the site and above all a superb "Taula", standing stone!

It is one of the most impressive prehistoric sites in Menorca, notable for its monumental table, one of the best preserved on the island, with an inclined slab resting on the central monolith. It dates from the Talayotic period (1000 BC) and has talayots, caves carved into the rock, houses, cyclopean walls and a ceremonial enclosure. Accessible by mountain bike or gravel, it is ideal for a cycle tour combined with other nearby sites such as Torre d'en Galmés or Naveta des Tudons. An essential place to discover the Talayotic history of Menorca. 🚴♂️

Take your time and don't miss a single detail of this area, that is if you try to leave it better than you found it. Ses Salines de Addaia are located within the limits of the S'Albufera des Grau Natural Park and are considered the best area in Menorca to observe species linked to saline environments. This is the case of flamingos, for example, a population that lives between the Addaia and Mongofra salt pans and which is one of the most outstanding animals in the Menorcan winter. Its presence, which has been increasing in recent years and has aroused the interest of a growing number of visitors. This large influx of users of the Camí de Cavalls is compromising the breeding of some species and the conservation of endemic plants.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jvf8dJPJAdc

Cala Mesquida is part of the municipality of Capdepera and is located in the middle of a nature reserve. The dunes surrounding Cala Mesquida extend to Cala Agulla, providing a habitat for the largest population of cormorants and seagulls in the Balearic Islands. In 1991 the area around Cala Mesquida and Cala Agulla was declared a Nature Reserve. Until the conquest of Jaime I of Aragon, the area was largely uninhabited, only the Miguel Nunis tower served as a viewpoint from which maritime traffic could be observed.
