Sa Mesquida Playa is a beautiful beach on the west coast of Menorca, you can see an old tower at the southern end of the beach. It can be easily accessed from the car park which is 200 meters from the beach.

Cala Mesquida is part of the municipality of Capdepera and is located in the middle of a nature reserve.
The dunes surrounding Cala Mesquida extend to Cala Agulla, providing a habitat for the largest population of cormorants and seagulls in the Balearic Islands. In 1991 the area around Cala Mesquida and Cala Agulla was declared a Nature Reserve.
Until the conquest of Jaime I of Aragon, the area was largely uninhabited, only the Miguel Nunis tower served as a viewpoint from which maritime traffic could be observed.
