Hiked January 2025. Start of stairs down dangerous and unsuitable for children. Many stairs work BROKEN or gone. Very sloppy. Signposting route, almost 0. GPS reception possibilities at the bottom limited. Special landscape but there are many nicer walks. We found it disappointing.

It is considered the only actual desert area on the entire European continent. Its landscape is characteristic of badlands, with impressive geological formations and a rich variety of environmental resources.

Beautiful area that you can't get enough of. It follows the yellow/white pole walk, but these are missing in some places and then komoot is “the savior”.

Cruel...if you have fun hiking along a highway and hiking to the homeless, have fun. Cheeky to post such a hike here at all....
