The arid, almost lunar-like landscape is breathtaking, with eroded hills, dry ravines, and stony plains. It's famous for its spectacular geological formations and for having been the setting for numerous film shoots. It's definitely worth exploring.

Beautiful views from the road, on one side, the hills near the town of Alboloduy, to the east begins the Tabernas Desert Natural Park.

Unfortunately, this route is hardly accessible due to some blocked gates. Half of the national park appears to be private. It's just a shame that this is possible.
