It's tough climbing up here on a road bike, especially in winter... But an unforgettable and addictive experience... and then on beyond Ases there's still a good climb left, and then down (carefully) to Castellterçol

Climbing it from the Talamanca side is more manageable than from the Matadepera area. Still, no matter which way you climb, Coll is highly recommended for adding to your bike routes.

From Navarcles, you go uphill with some rest between each uphill section.

This is the southern slope of the Coll d'Estanalles. It is a 14 km slope with several rest sections and only 2 km at 6%. It is a climb with a pleasant road, in good condition and with some traffic during the weekend. There are hardly any views along the entire climb.

Road BP1432 from Riells del Fai to Sant Feliu de Codines, where it connects with the C59. It is a gentle ascent, of about 5 km, with an average slope of approx. 5%. It is not very busy and can be connected with the return to Gallifa or by continuing to Sant Miquel del Fai.

Coll d'Estanalles is a purely cycling port. Without large slopes and very long on both sides, it is a challenge for many cyclists, regardless of their level. I recommend uploading it in spring and fall. In summer, it's too hot and in winter... too cold. Road in perfect condition and with many curves, which gives a more interesting touch for the cyclist. There are no views up there, but the landscape around is bucolic.
