You can go up to this viewpoint from the Chorro road coming from below or from El Mirador de Las Cebadillas coming from above. In this second case you pass through the Mirador de Abajo, the Arroyo Sequillo Footbridge and the Wooden Bridge of Arroyo del Chorro.

From this viewpoint you can admire the Castillar Bajero, which is the mass of rock that provides the rocky bottom of the Arroyo in this area, which from this Castillar Bajero, is full of Chorros, (A Chorro is a bed of rock where the water slides and falls producing great beauty, unlike a waterfall which is a free fall of water).

Reservoir located in a very picturesque place, so it is worth going through the dam and enjoying the landscape.

The Pirón River reservoir is one of the many reservoirs found throughout the Sierra de Guadarrama. This, despite its size, is nestled in a beautiful landscape surrounded by pine trees with views of the peaks and the Castilian plateau.

In the Alto de Porrinoso there are remains of a shepherd's corral or some military post from the Civil War. In the Montes Carpetanos there are quite a few remains of military posts from a front that was active during the years of the Civil War. The walk to the Porrinoso cliffs offers a close view of the Hoyos and Hoyo Cerrado glacial cirques, which are impressive and show traces of the glacial apparatus that covered the mountain range in other times.
