Before reaching the narrowest point of the Terradets pass, there appears this set of kilometers where the river has formed a narrow gorge that, as the path rises, gives very beautiful views of the area.

Impressive wall that rises on both sides of the Barranc del Bosc and on the north side, is the Roca Regina. Some of these walls are normally climbed so it's normal to see a group of climbers hanging on these upright, mountainous stones that the water has formed!

With magnificent views of Camarasa and the Segre River, at this point we will find the Cova del Tabac, a monumental cave where we will find ancient cave paintings damaged by acts of vandalism. The cave was formed by karst phenomena, meaning that water infiltrated through the stone over millions of years. As a curiosity, we know that the name Cova del Tabac comes from the powder that centuries ago was extracted from it to mix with tobacco.

In the area of the Dolmen, we will find the Romanesque hermitage of Santa Eulalia de Pomañons, from the s. XI and located in the Torre de Rialb. There is also a large picnic area, a dolmen and access to the swamp if we need to cool off.

Vilanova de Meià has just over 400 inhabitants but is known worldwide for being a climbing mecca. This section corresponds to the omnipresent rock walls. They are a real gift for the eyes.

Huge cave with paintings and feathered rats

The Tobacco Cave is a cave in the municipality of Camarasa (Noguera) with representations of cave paintings. It is located on the south-east slope of the Mont Roig mountains.
