Near the middle, there's a steep climb with roots, which requires more technical riding skills, and the descent is relatively steep and a bit slippery due to the scree. Nothing great, but already in the blue range, so not recommended for complete beginners.

The most beautiful cycle bridge over the Danube, parallel to the Pfaffenstein motorway bridge. It offers a compact crossing from the south bank to the north bank. The southern half runs north over the "Wehr" Danube dam to the two junctions with the "Oberer Wöhrd" (Upper Wöhrd) and directly to the Dultinsel (Dult Island). The northern half runs over the high cantilevered steel structure, which is clearly visible in the photos and which allows you to cross the second river channel, the Danube Canal. The wooden floor slats can be slippery in rain. At the transitions from the ramps to the actual bridge section, there are 90-degree bends with an unexpected gap in the railing for a pedestrian staircase: a cyclist who accidentally rides into this section runs the risk of serious injury! So keep your eyes open and turn on your lights at night!
