Because someone wrote that the trail is suitable for beginners, it's only partially suitable, even with a motor for the climbs. Near the middle, there's a steep climb with roots, which requires more technical riding skills, and the descent is relatively steep and a bit slippery due to the scree. Nothing great, but already in the blue range, so not recommended for complete beginners.

The most beautiful cycle bridge over the Danube, parallel to the Pfaffenstein motorway bridge. It offers a compact crossing from the south bank to the north bank. The southern half runs north over the "Wehr" Danube dam to the two junctions with the "Oberer Wöhrd" (Upper Wöhrd) and directly to the Dultinsel (Dult Island). The northern half runs over the high cantilevered steel structure, which is clearly visible in the photos and which allows you to cross the second river channel, the Danube Canal. The wooden floor slats can be slippery in rain. At the transitions from the ramps to the actual bridge section, there are 90-degree bends with an unexpected gap in the railing for a pedestrian staircase: a cyclist who accidentally rides into this section runs the risk of serious injury! So keep your eyes open and turn on your lights at night!

For a long time, this railway bridge could also have been used as a narrow footbridge for cyclists and pedestrians crossing the Danube. A separate pedestrian and cyclist bridge now exists on the shared piers, so the footbridge is currently being demolished.
