The peak looks like a grassy pyramid that rises along the Como ridge. From afar it can be recognized by the presence of a pyramidal chapel.
It can be reached easily from the peak of Sormano or from Alpe del Vicerè. In this case you have to take into account a minimum of effort to overcome the steep final slope.
The itineraries that start from Caslino d'Erba or from Asso on the east side or from the hamlets of Faggeto Lario on the west side are longer and more demanding.

To see the illuminated Cross I left at 4.20pm from the Alpe del Vicerè car park. At 5.15pm I reached the top of Mount Bollettone keeping a good pace and a few minutes later it lit up! To go down you need a front panel even if the road is easily passable
