The "Panoramica Valle del freddo" hiking trail runs halfway between Castro and Zorzino. In summer, the view is obscured by trees along much of the trail. A true view of the lake is only available in the northern section.

Between Solto Collina and Castro, in the north-western part of Lake Iseo, this panoramic trail offers splendid views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. However, pay attention to the path you walk on, because in some places it is not too wide and a little exposed.

Nice trail, never too difficult, At the beginning there are 2 paths, one more dug with also a metal pipe in the middle and one more to the right with a lighter track in the undergrowth. Better to take the one more to the right in the undergrowth which is definitely easier and will then rejoin the main track

Wide track, very compact and pedalable surface - despite the rain - even with "road" gravel tires, like the ones I fitted yesterday. Very fun and relaxing.

Better MTB or eMTB with serious you have to pay close attention to where you put the wheels.

It is a very useful route to reach an alternative mule track to reach Forteno, having said that this is a single trail with quite difficult passages on rocks. Personally I pushed the mtb in some places.
