The Frommer is worth a stop in both summer and winter. The coffee and food are good, and the service has been "consistent" for years. Conveniently located near the cable car station between Welschenhofen and the Kölner Hütte. Also a great place to stop for trail bikers 😉

Contrary to what others say, in my opinion, this trail is definitely a must-do for any ambitious mountain biker; the views in the first section are hard to beat. It should be clear that this isn't a Sunday flow trail, after all, the EWS/EDR has already been ridden here. The upper section has a few challenging, sometimes tight, switchbacks. In the lower section, from the tree line, it becomes a top-notch singletrack with plenty of roots.

Upon request, we were also allowed to stay as non-guests in the summer.

The Double-U is a technical and fun trail that starts from the ridge between Col dei Rossi and the Sass Becè refuge. It has a mostly natural and earthy base. According to many people who have traveled the paths of the Fassa Bike Park, this is the most fun and iconic trail.

Central starting point for hikes here in this wonderful hiking area, or also starting point (with parking) for skiing. Anyone who comes from the valley with the cable car (Welschenofen or St. Zyprian) automatically ends up here from this central place. Also beautifully landscaped.
