Monte Faudo (1151 m) is a beautiful dome-shaped mountain that rises a short distance from the sea, overlooking the Ligurian Riviera.

Both for hikers and those who practice mountain biking, this tour offers a variety of pleasant surprises.

Monte Faudo is easily doable both uphill and downhill with a gravel bike. I recommend going up from Dolcedo, or Civezza, arriving in both cases at S. Brigida, because it is less steep. The descent from the side of Monte Follia towards the Taggia valley is less clean, but this too is done with a gravel.

Monte Faudo can only be reached by mountain bike and advanced riding technique, it was a bit difficult with a gravel bike, but doable.

Great area for biking sea and mountains together

Enduro Trail well balanced between difficulty and speed. In the most difficult points there are chicken lines. Also feasible with full xc as long as you have an excellent dose of technique and telescopic seatpost. Ideal mtb from 140mm up. It is a good rule to have adequate protection 🙏
