A group of pretty, colorful rocks, accessed through a wide crevice. They also provide shade!

Interesting shapes and colors characterize this granite rock not far from the first climb out of the river valley. You pass through a wide crevice and then find yourself amidst an impressive ensemble.

Definitely a challenging climb on concrete ramps (never a good sign when it comes to slope, but at least the surface is perfect), but the view and the tranquility are worth the effort.

The view from Punta Paladimonti is simply spectacular. Located in the Orobie Alps, this peak offers a 360-degree panorama that ranges from the imposing peaks of the surrounding mountains to the view of the valley below. From the peak, you can admire Lake Como in the distance and, on clear days, the highest peaks of the central Alps.

We can only confirm that it was a difficult drive. We just about managed it with our rental car, with the tires spinning. We were also worried about the underbody from the potholes. The most critical point was about 700m from the car park. The hike itself was great!

Attention: the access is only recommended with an off-road vehicle. We had to turn around shortly before reaching our destination. Very steep, sandy ground and holes. Our car was washing up. Not recommended without a jeep or similar. It's a shame that the precarious access road is not signposted or described anywhere.

Great view of the coast - and the mountains

Hike through beautiful nature. Unfortunately, the GPS often breaks down. The path is still easy to see. But the round trip is much longer than it is recorded. Depending on your pace, it takes 3.5 to 4 hours. The path is very rocky in places and can only be mastered with a few climbing sections. Good shoes and poles are recommended. Avoid it when it's wet! Great view of the coastal landscape, the pools of water also have their charm. The descent to the waterfall is tough. A worthwhile hike! The journey by car to the parking lot is doable, but it is a challenge. Lots of potholes and stones, only a few parts are concrete. There is a shuttle from the base station, but only early in the morning and in the afternoon.
