The Doctor's source is an essential crossing point between the paths between Sticciano and Montorsaio. Cycling between Monte Leoni and Montorsaio you will come across this source which reads "M. Baldi 1974", the character to whom it was dedicated.

Actually really great place. Unfortunately access is currently blocked. Unfortunately, we couldn't see any waterfalls from outside either. Maybe due to lack of water? We were there on September 12th, 2023.

The Acqua d'Alto Waterfall, located above the hamlet of Bagnoli, under the Sasso della Vettoraia, is 25 meters high and was inactive for years after Siena had subtracted its water, depriving the archidoxins of the waterfall and causing shortages of water supply. It has recently been reopened.
