Beyond the park (in the opposite direction to the Tanaro) the trail becomes less obvious and continues narrowly along the river. A few meters more dangerous directly on the water and with sheer gullies, which do not leave much room to pass. Beyond it becomes wider again.

path almost eaten by grass and brambles but it resists, and getting to the end is an achievement💪

Nature reserve

On the SP3, at the crossroads for Barbaresco, there is this very nice corner with a stone table and chairs in the shade of a large tree. On both sides one looks there are vineyards as well as, not too far away, the beautiful tower of Barbaresco.

Shrine of great beauty. Peace and tranquility reign throughout the area where you can walk and cycle peacefully without the stress of traffic. Outside the Sanctuary there are: a monumental cross, a car park and a picnic area.

Imposing rock formation. The circumnavigation of the gorge is partly very steep in descent and ascent. The signpost says "escursionisti esperti". Not recommended at all when wet. Otherwise easy hike, largely exposed to the sun.

The Rocche dei Sette Fratelli are badlands generated by the erosion of the water. Legend has it that seven brothers were mowing the grass on Good Friday. The younger sister brought them a basket with a meager meal, as it was a fast day. The seven, taken by anger, inveighed against God and the young woman. The Lord then punished them by opening a deep chasm beneath their feet. They were sucked in and disappeared forever, but the sister was saved.
