At the entrance to the Pietrapiana di Monte Finestra di Cava de' Tirreni cave, located at an altitude of 775 meters above sea level, since 8 May 1988, between the Metelliana and Tramonti valleys, there has been a small statue of the Immaculate Madonna which is called "Madonna della Pace", for the quiet that can be enjoyed in the area and for the extraordinary visible panorama. After a few years, the young Carlo undertook the preparation of the altar at the entrance to the cavity, channeling the fresh spring water into a fountain.
