doable in both directions...I always prefer going downhill along this path which in ancient times was a passage path to shorten on foot going towards Montenero

Path that descends from Poggio Pelato towards Castiglioncello fun downhill a bit bumpy with rocks, but I believe in the opposite direction so uphill if you have a hardly feasible muscular MTB.

Trail with initial uphill stretch, the ground is compact with firm rocks. Along the way there are two artificial jumps that can be avoided. Protection for the whole body needed
