Val Nambrone is a branch of Valle di Campiglio, which can be found between Pinzolo and Sant'Antonio di Mavignola, a short distance from Madonna di Campiglio. The valley rises up to the peaks of the Presanella group. In addition to the spectacular view of the Brenta Dolomites, Val Nambrone is famous for its alpine lakes.

Val Genova is a side valley of Val Rendena in Trentino, entirely included in the Provincial Adamello-Brenta Natural Park, the largest protected area in the province of Trento. It is also known as the "valley of the waterfalls".

The Bocca d'Ambiez is the firn channel of the Cima d'Ambiez. It forms the transition to the Vedretta d'Ambiez plateau. Below the Cima is the Vedretta Val d'Agola glacier, which, like so many others, is in decline.
