As the name suggests, the volcano is located right on Mount Busca, which reaches an altitude of 740 meters above sea level and is about 15 minutes from Tredozio or Portico di Romagna, about an hour from Cesena or Forlì. More precisely, we are in the Inferno locality (never name was more apt) of the small town of Tredozio. In reality another type of phenomenon that cannot be categorized as a volcano. It is in fact a perpetual methane source that comes out of the ground and that is specially set on fire to avoid gas spillage

The Chiusa di Ladino is an artificial dam that creates a waterfall with several pools of water. These pools are suitable for swimming in the summer, provided there is no extreme drought. The Chiusa di Ladino plays an important role in serving the Romiti canal.

Monte Busca, located near Tredozio, is known as the smallest "volcano" in Italy. However, it is not a real volcano. It is a perpetual flame powered by an emission of methane gas that, in contact with oxygen, remains constantly lit. This flame has been active since before 1500.

The one on the top of Monte Busca is not a volcano: the perennial flames that emerge from the small opening in the ground are due to a spontaneous release of hydrocarbons (mainly methane), which takes the name of "burning fountain". Very suggestive at sunset/evening :-)
