Grotte Verde is one of the many caves in Salento that is absolutely not to be missed. It is close to Marina di Andrano in the La Botte area and the cave is accessed following a rocky descent. To get to the cave you have to swim there and the reflection of the sun makes the walls and water green.

Historian Palumbo believes it has been moved from its original location. Crosses are engraved on the faces, a sign of the Christianisation of the monument.
