Beautiful hike both on top of the cliffs and down at the beach. The trees can block the views in the summer and autumn, but there's always a glimpse of the cliffs to catch anyways.

Most of the stairs, except for 2, have been rebuilt and you can go up to the beach or up from the beach. The longest staircase to the Geo Center has 490 steps. Walking on the beach depends on the water level. In unfavorable conditions, the first steps of the stairs may be under water. The wooden stairs are very stable, wide enough so that oncoming traffic is not obstructed, have stable railings and enough rest areas. Sturdy, waterproof shoes are advantageous for walking on the rocky beach and the softened chalk.
