Here we probably found the bathing area of the "Berghotel Bruhnskoppel" at the end of the path that led from the former hotel down to the lake and is now very overgrown. There are stairs to the lake and a small fenced-in area. Both the benches and the jetty have long since seen their best days...

Bathing area with a rest area near the village of Krummsee/Malente. It offers a sandy beach, a long wooden jetty with a diving board and a bathing island. The end of the non-swimmer area is clearly marked. It is located in the middle of the forest and can only be reached on foot or by bike. The nearest parking facility is about 800 meters away. Attention: The bathing area at Krummsee is unguarded! Water quality is very good and is constantly checked. A stop here is worth it! Really idyllic.

The Krummsee measures approx. 700 × 250 m and belongs to Malente. The water quality is generally considered "very good", i.e. bathing quality.

Scenic route with very little traffic and great asphalt (partly redone in 2019). Hilly as is common here in the region. To the south, the section is connected by a road that is not as heavily traveled, and to the north to an even less traveled route between Sieversdorf and Benz, which is also great to drive.

The Krummsee has an area of 0.12 km² and a maximum depth of 11.5 m. It is embedded in a forest area near the village of the same name, Krummsee, which belongs to the municipality of Malente. The bathing area is not here, but a little further on the north bank of the Krummsee. The water in the lake is usually of very good quality and a small forest swimming area on the lake is ideal for swimming in summer. Beautiful little plant, which was financed by donations. If you prefer solitude, this is just the place, the place is really very remote. Also a toilet is available.
