a real little mountain bike circuit!! with some relief, as a bonus..

Nice piece of forest that sticks to the R4 on one side. I got in from the bridge over the R4, under which there is a metal walkway and a staircase, an alternative to the 400m of asphalt on the Wellingstraat, but that Komoot did not indicate to me. I did not come across a sign 'private property' (possibly because of that???). The forest is clearly also ridden by MTB-ers.

a few hills, not that special

Since September 24, 2022, Ghent has had a new street art and graffiti open-air museum: Corridor 9050 in Gentbrugge: under the E17 bridge. Meanwhile, there is also a 'Parkour' installation and multifunctional sofas. ('Parkour' is an exercise discipline that originated in France in which young people in particular move through the city using jumps, climbing and rolling.)

Very nice crossing path

There is still something to experience along the slopes of the towpath along the Scheldt.

A narrow dirt road that partly runs along the Teirlinckput. Access to the road from the dike is via a short steep descent, so it is best to get off if you are on a touring bike. Furthermore, it is doable, although the path is more suitable for mountain bikes.

In this small piece of forest there is a nice MTB / cyclo cross / dirt bike park. An interesting wooden camp has been built at the entrance.
