Small pump track at the edge of the recreational ground to the far side of the woods. Although in need of repair it’s still fun to bomb around on route through the trails.

Near the top (to the left of the road as you’re going up the hill) is an area of bumps and jumps worn and dug into and around the roots and hillocks from BMX and MTB riders. Good fun.

Park on Shooters Hill Rd. Home to the Charlton Lido sports centre, tennis courts, scenic gardens and a cheeky little BMX circuit. Backs onto Woolwich Common.

The Southmere Lake area. At the end of the Ridgeway, behind Crossness Engines, is a dissused golf course which is an MTB 'playground'; loops and circuits of hilly dirt tracks. I usually avoid it as it gets very muddy, but-today was mud free and I had the place to myself - heaven. Best avoid weekends as it gets busy with kids on motorbikes .

Fun little BMX track, gets very busy at weekends, motor bikes etc. Go on a weekday, out of school holidays, and you can get the place to yourself.

Agree with the slippery right handed at end - washed out on it. Great fun segment. Beware of walkers too - not uncommon to see a family walking up and no where for them to go to easily get out of way - especially if have pram you need to be able to stop within your eyeline.

Fun little dirt jumps park

A little BMX jump park in the woods behind the Thames towpath. Occaisionally full of lippy kids, it's a relatively dangerous set of tabletops, berms and spines. A bit hairy on a CX bike mind!
