You can easily reach the lake by cable car from Gsteig. The trip costs around 18 CHF for a round trip with the half-fare card. Parking is available in Gsteig, or you can take the bus to Gsteig. 🚶♂️The circular hike around Lac de Sanetsch is easy to moderate and takes around 1 to 2 hours. The trail is well signposted and leads through varied alpine landscapes 🏔🌲

A rocky and austere pass, perched in the Bernese Alps, on the southern ridge of Mont Pucel and the Wildhorn. The pass is a spectacular hiking destination, with surreal geological features, as well as spectacular views of the surrounding lakes, valleys, peaks and glaciers. One side of the pass approach will require some climbing on ladders and cables, which may add a bit of complexity or adventure to the day.
