There's no access to the springs from the information sign. To get there, you have to cross the bridge and then walk left along a rather overgrown path. The springs are lukewarm. Overall, it's a lovely place for a short break!

Perched at an altitude of 2,200 meters, Lake Tracouet is also called “Lac Noir” for the dark color of its water. In 2020, it was classified as a “protected natural site” by the Canton of Valais. You can easily observe red frogs or Alpine newts. With its panoramic terrace and a well-stocked menu, the Restaurant de Tracouet also makes the place a privileged stopover on any route passing nearby.

Really lovely alp meadow. Worth the little sidetour from Tortin. Seems to be rather busy on weekends though.
