Sion is a town in the canton of Valais in southwestern Switzerland. Two forts are particularly well known: the ruins of the Tourbillon castle from the 13th century and the Valère castle complex, which includes a basilica with an organ that is over 500 years old. In the old town are the Cathedral of Our Lady from the 15th century and the conical witch tower. The Majorie and Vidomnat castles house the Musée d'art du Valais with a regional art collection.
