The ruins of Everdes Castle are all that remains of a medieval fortress built in the 13th century by the lords of Corbières-Vuippens, who were involved in a feud with the towns of Friborg and Bern. The castle did not last long as it was destroyed by fire in 1348 and today only a fragment of its southern surrounding wall remains.

Bulle Castle dates back to the 13th century. The castle cannot be visited, but you can climb the tower. From above you can admire Bulle and the La Gruyère region. A very steep staircase leads to the tower.
