We started our tour to climb the Schesaplana at the Douglasshütte, which is easily accessible via the Lünerseebahn. The first part of the route leads through cozy greenery past the Lünersee. The route continued towards the Totalphütte. Here the climb was more challenging but for us guys with average fitness it was definitely doable without any problems. The paths are also well signposted and labeled. The path between Totalphütte and Schesaplana is quite challenging and (according to the route recording) has a gradient of around 28% in the last third.
