Lake Gerzensee is privately owned. It's not possible to walk around it. From Kirchdorf, there's a dirt road that leads to a wonderful seating area.

Lake Gerzen is a lake located between the villages of Gerzensee, Mühledorf, and Kirchdorf in the canton of Bern, Switzerland. Its water level is at an average elevation of 603 meters above sea level. At normal water levels, the lake is approximately 8.5 meters deep on average and reaches a maximum of 11 meters deep, and has a surface area of 0.25 km², making it one of the medium-sized pre-Alpine lakes in Switzerland.

Very nice viewpoint. We rested there

The Tavel Memorial is a wonderful viewpoint near Gschneit/Oberbütschel, on the Längenberg. Here, a view of the Alps and the glittering Lake Thun opens up. The plaque honors the Bernese German poet Rudolf von Tavel, who was inspired by this panorama. This place is not only a popular destination for hikers, but also for walkers who want to enjoy nature. In winter, children can sled down the small hill and breathe in the fresh mountain air. The viewpoint is easily accessible from the Gschneit car park in just a few minutes' walk and is often above the high fog, which makes the view even more spectacular.
