The Waregem Cycling Team uses the woods behind the football field in the Lendedreef as a training location for cyclocross lessons. At their request, the municipal authorities made a number of adjustments: on one of the hills they installed a series of stairs and there was also a training field with beams that the cyclists have to jump over. Nice singletrack to the little wood. Unfortunately the western part is not allowed for biking anymore. They have put a gate. Only for pedestrians. Problem now of course is that hikers go straight into the MTB single track that is supposed to be only for bikers..Typical Belgian logics ...

Trees are nicely cleaned up and stacked as a mountain, easy to drive over. Nice technical course with many scarce turns

These singletacks in this neighborhood are never boring! Be careful, just like I said, small resistance is needed in Keuneleute, the gradient increases to just under 10%, the average is 5%. The worst climb is to enter at the south gate and keep to the right. Don't forget to visit the polder forest, closer to Westrozebeke.
