The Yrmini Thermal Springs (also known as the Springs of Yrmina) and Kounoupeli Beach are located near the village of Manolada (municipality of Andravida-Kyllini). These places are known for their combination of natural beauty, ancient mythology, and healing properties, although they are considered something of a hidden gem today. The springs have a long history and are named after the ancient Queen Yrmina, who, according to legend, bathed there to cure a rare illness. The thermal water originates from a cave, which is considered a geologically significant biotope. The mineral-rich water has traditionally been used to relieve muscle and joint pain.

The Peloponnese is world-renowned for its olive cultivation, which dates back up to 5,000 years. The area around Kyllini and the neighboring prefecture of Elis (Ilia) is characterized by extensive olive groves, where many trees are hundreds of years old. Olive trees are considered sacred in Greece and are often protected from being cut down. They symbolize resilience, wisdom, and hope. The most widely cultivated variety in the Peloponnese is the Koroneiki olive, known for its high-quality, fruity olive oil.

The southern entrance is located on a quiet country road that leads directly into the characteristic pine forests. The park stretches for approximately 25 km from Cape Araxos in the north to the Lechaina salt marshes in the south.

Next to the old stone bridge is the exit point from the Neda Gorge to reach the waterfalls.

The waterfall directly at the stone bridge is not the highlight; the more beautiful ones come later on the tour.

The experience of swimming with turtles is great. But the smell haunts you even longer ;-)

At this point there is an entrance to the constantly flowing sulfur spring.

The hot water of these thermal baths and springs flows through the cave of the "Nymphs of Anigrides. According to mythology, the Dardanos, the ancestors of the Trojans, were born here.
