Coming from Dobërdol, this is the first path on the way to Milishevc. After that, the trail continues along the ridge.

Border crossing in the mountains which can officially be used by foreigners/tourists. Good road surface on both sides (as of June 2024), hardly any traffic and beautiful landscape in particular on the Albanian side. There is a café/restaurant on the top on the Albanian side

Here the Peaks of the Balkans briefly crosses the border from Albania to Montenegro before going straight back to Albania

Sweaty ascent from Doberdol. From here it's more relaxed - if there isn't still a lot of snow on the mountain flanks in spring. The view in all directions is awesome!

There was still some snow on May 20th 2023 but it was safe enough to come here

After a challenging ascent through the meadows from Doberdol, you walk along the border for a while and have views of both countries. A detour to the Dreiländerberg Tromeda is recommended.

The road connecting Kukes and Peshkopi discourses at the foot of impressive rocky massifs and offers precious views of the Black Drin valley.

Coming from Doberdol you cross the border from Albania to Montenegro here... at the top you have a wonderful view in all directions
